Storing hay properly is essential for both feed quality and farm efficiency. Our experts designed a spacious hay shed spanning 24 metres and 9 metres deep providing easy hay stacking and machinery access. Split into four bays, Luke has managed to stack 16 long rectangular bales per bay in three, fitting 48 bales comfortably while allowing for hassle-free loading and machinery storage on the fourth.
With a 5.5-metre clearance, there’s plenty of headroom for equipment like front-end loaders and telehandlers to move bales in and out just as easily. And to make the most of natural rainfall, Luke’s plan is to have the downpipes direct water into water tanks, reducing waste and promoting sustainable farm practices. This Big Shed secures, contains, and protects his hay and equipment, effectively reducing losses and keeping his livestock well-fed year-round.
Luke’s Big Shed is engineered for maximum storage, hassle-free access, and efficient water collection. Check it out!
